I Need These In My Life!

So I am going shopping with a friend on Saturday, I'm hoping to take some pictures and I will also do a haul for you all! But I was looking on some websites at some of the things I will be looking for when out shopping.

One of the things being a new pair of high heeled sandals for the summer to wear with pretty dresses and skirts on holiday and during the warmer months. I came across these gorgeous pair of heels on the Topshop website and I will definitely be looking out for them on Saturday!

They are the Liberty Wooden High Sandals and the colour is called chocolate, but to me they look more brown but we shall see on Saturday! Anyway, the heel heigh is five inches and they are 100% leather so they should last really well too. At £70 they are a bit pricey but I know I will get lots of wear out of them so they will be worth the money! Plus I have a lot of Topshop vouchers that are waiting to be spent...this is their calling!

Oh My Goodness!

So today I have been busy trying to find ways of promoting my blog and making sure that I am up to date with all social networking (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.) so that you can all follow me, like my page and keep up to date with me!

So at the moment, I have a new Twitter page that is just for my blog, so news of new posts will be up there, random photos of what I'm up to, wearing, eating, drinking etc and general life musings!

I have given you my personal account on my 'contact me' page, which I am happy for you to all go and follow if you like hearing about people complaining about coursework and the weekly bath pic! But if your looking for a fashion and beauty fix then head over to @JessieRObsessed to hear all my latest news... not to mention follow me shopping this weekend!

My Facebook page was up and running for my old blog (Friday's Child Beauty) and so what with all of tonights goings on I have not been able to create a new one. But don't worry - this will be happening soon and should be up and running by the end of the week!

I am brand new to Pinterest and so I am still getting to grips with how it works...However, I have been 'liking' and 'repinning' various different photos, mainly fashion and beauty related, but you never know what might sneek in in the future! Follow me at JessieRObsessed

This Month I'm Loving...

Towards the end of each month I am going to do a 'This Month I'm Loving' post showcasing all of the non - beauty and fashion things that I have loved and been into that month. I am also going to do a 'Monthly Favourites' which will consist of all my beauty and fashion favourites.

This is the first month that my blog has been live and as it is drawing the end of the month with February fast approaching it is the perfect time to start this new post!

At the beginning of the month, Les Miserables came out in the cinema. I haven't had the chance to see it at the theatre so I made sure to go and see it with some girlfriends at the first opportunity. Eddie Redmayne is a huge crush of mine and he looks gorgeous in the movie! At the moment the film and its actors are doing really well at the awards, with last nights SAG awards. Make sure you check this film out if you haven't already - its a must see!

Miranda Kerr... need I say anymore? She has been a huge girl crush of mine now for ages as she always has impeccable style, she's a Victorias Secret model and her baby Flynn is too cute for words! Whether Miranda is jetting in from overseas with Orlando and Flynn or on a beach in St Barts shooting a new campaign she always looks amazing. Her organic beauty range - Kora Organics - is a brand that I am really interested in trying as I love that Miranda is all about health and well being. She is a great inspiration for women and we could all take a few style tips from her too. If only we could all look this good when jetting back from holiday (could we all have the movie star husband and gorgeous baby too?)... 

Finally, this month I have been lighting my White Company candle every night when I get home and have a hot relaxing bubble bath to destress and clam myself. I am in love with the Seychelles scent as it is soft and breezy, but at the same time fresh and beachy. It certainly puts me in the mood for a holiday somewhere hot! They burn really well and last for a long time depending on how long you burn them for. Their packaging is timeless and chic, with the glass jar fitting perfectly on a windowsill, in your bathroom or around the house.

Fashion Books

When my mind fails me (because lets face it everyones does once in a while!) I turn to great style books to help me with my outfit choices!

I LOVE watching the Rachel Zoe Project on TV and so when Rachel published her style book - Style A to Zoe - I had to have it to pick up handy tips and tricks from the celebrity stylist turned fashion designer herself. The book is great for how to add accessories to outfits and how to clear out your closet - a definite must for any fashion addict!

My next book is by Lauren Conrad called Style. I loved Lauren's style on The Hills and love that she is putting her tips into one big fashion book. Whereas Rachel's book is more adding finishing touches to outfits, Lauren's book is all about how to put together the perfect outfit!

There are many more books out there, but these are my number one go to's! Keep a look out for my beauty book musts coming soon!
